I’ve inherited an educator gene from my parents, and find great joy in sharing what I have learned. I think of teachers not as fonts of knowledge, but stewards of it, and that the act of teaching can be just as important as the content.
I have over a decade of both classroom and informal educator experience. This includes in the Center for Family Learning program at AMNH, as an adjunct professor at NYU, and as a mentor to 7 (soon to be 8!) cohorts of high school students in the Science Research and Mentor Program.
